Student Code of Conduct

At Best Matriculation Higher Secondary School, discipline is the foundation of character building. We believe that a structured environment cultivates respect, responsibility, and academic excellence. Our Code of Conduct outlines the expected behavior of every student, ensuring a safe, respectful, and productive learning atmosphere.

✅ Do’s: Expectations from Students

  • Be punctual – Arrive at school before 9:20 AM. Class begins at 9:30 AM sharp.
  • Wear the complete school uniform on all working days. Maintain neatness and proper grooming.
  • Carry your school ID card and student diary daily without fail.
  • Use the school diary to note homework, schedules, and important announcements.
  • Speak only in English within the school campus to enhance communication skills.
  • Submit leave letters with diary notes for absences exceeding three days.
  • Be respectful and polite to teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.
  • Utilize the library hours effectively and maintain silence and decorum.
  • Follow the school’s food chart and bring healthy snacks/lunches.
  • Keep classrooms and surroundings clean and treat school property with care.
  • Use courteous language, including the three magic words: Please, Thank You, and Sorry.
  • Pay school and transport fees on or before the 5th of every month to avoid penalties.
  • Attend all classes regularly and sincerely, including co-curricular sessions.
  • Inform the class teacher in case of emergencies or special needs.
  • Participate actively in school functions, competitions, and celebrations.

Don’ts: Behaviors to Avoid

  • Do not arrive late; latecomers will not be allowed without valid reasons.
  • Do not come to school in improper or untidy uniform; no low-waist pants or untucked shirts.
  • Avoid wearing costly jewelry or accessories to school.
  • Do not enter other classrooms without permission.
  • Avoid loitering or wasting time during library or free periods.
  • Do not disrespect teachers, peers, or school authorities.
  • Do not scribble or damage classroom furniture, walls, or school property.
  • Avoid using mobile phones or gadgets unless permitted for academic purposes.
  • Do not skip classes or play truant; absenteeism without valid reason leads to disciplinary action.
  • Avoid loud talking, quarrels, or bullying behavior in school.
  • Refrain from using foul language or spreading rumors.
  • Don’t bring unsafe or inappropriate items to school.
  • Don’t chew gum, litter, or damage plants and trees on campus.
